우리 옛 사람들은 시나 편지를 쓸 때 시전지를 사용했습니다.
시전지와 그 안에 담긴 내용이 어우려져 전하고자 하는 마음을 한층 품위 있고 멋스럽게 표현할 수 있었습니다.

조선 왕실에서 사용하였던 문양을 담아 천년의 버티는 색색의 우리 한지로 만든 이 시전지로
오늘의 당신이 옛 선비들의 은은한 정취를 느끼며 마을을 달래고 전할 수 있기를 바랍니다.

Our ancestors used Sijeonji (elaborately decorated paper specially used in writing poems and letters) when composing poetry or penning letters and epistles. The elegantly designed Sijeonji and its contents were intended to express the dignity and refinement of the writer. This Sijeonji contains the royal patterns of the Joseon dynasty, and is made from colorful and ancient hanji (traditional Korean paper made from mulberry trees), which embodies the subtle taste of the seonbi (classical scholar).
